During the Covid-19 pandemic, I wanted even more time outside with my camera and nature. I also found myself wanting to lighten people’s days a little by posting wildlife and bird photos on social media. Wildlife is all around us, whether you’re in a city, suburb, small town, or remote area. You just have to look for it.
We started seeing a lot more foxes around Lincoln in 2020—and continuing in the years since—such as this family in a creek bed of a local park. These little guys were curious and relatively unafraid (but cautious).
